Comportamento forrageiro de abelhas (Hymenoptera, Apoidea) em flores de Solanum palinacanthum Dunal (Solanaceae)

Observations on bees (Hymenoptera, Apoidea) visitors of flowers of Solanum palinacanthum (Solanaceae) were accomplished in Cruz das Almas - State of Bahia, Brazil (12o4039"S; 39o0623"W; 225m) from 1994 to 1995. Fourteen species of bees, belonging the families Andrenidae, Apidae and Halictidae, were identified. The peaks of activity of collection of materials by bees occurred at 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Considering the abundance of specimens, transported pollen load and time of visit by flower, Bombus atratus, B. morio and Eulaema nigrita were considered as the main polinizators.
