Efeito das umidades relativas de 30 e 50% sobre o desenvolvimento de ovos de Anocentor nitens (Neumman, 1897) (ACARI: IXODIDAE) expostos por diferentes intervalos de tempo

M. Suzuki, E.Daemon, E.L. H. Faccini, J.

The aim of the present work was to know the effects of 30 and 50% R.H. on eggs of Anocentor nitens submitted at different intervals of 24 hours, under laboratory conditions. After maintenance of each experimental group, for the respective period of time, they were transferred to and kept in a controlled environment (>80% R.H. and 27 ± 1C), until the eventual larval eclosion and larval death. Eggs exposed at 50% R.H. for 24 408 hours did not suffer influence (P>0.005) in relation to eggs incubation and eclosion periods. Expositions above 168 hours had the rate of larval eclosion decreased. The incubation periods at 30% R.H. were prolonged and from 48 hours of exposition intervals larval eclosions were lower. There was no eclosion at 30% R.H. after 336 hours of exposition. For both R.H., however, was not observed deleterious effect in the survival of larvae that ecloded.
