Type 1 diabetes mellitus is a common endocrinopathy in domestic animals, resulting from environmental and food management. It has as one of the main races rushed the poodle, females and animals with age between 7 and 9 years. This study aimed to report a case of type 1 diabetes mellitus in a seven year old poodle. The animal had a history of emesis episodes, apathy, and lack of appetite. In diabetes mellitus an individualized treatment plan is essential, frequent reassessment.
