Plant-visiting bats from Neotropics are known to feed on a variety of plants products, including flowers, pollen, fruit, nectar and leaves (Gardner, 1997; Zortea & Mendes, 1993; Zortea, 1994). Previous reports of folivory in neotropical bats includes four bat species and leaves of, at least, four plants families (Table 1).
